10-20-24 We all have our opinion on who is the best hitter we ever saw. We are not professional ballplayers though. It would be interesting to get a pro's opinion. Better yet, how about getting an opinion from an all-time great hitter. Someone like Joltin Joe DiMagio. Here is a nice video where "Joe DiMaggio Explains Who Is The Number 1 Baseball Hitter He Ever Saw". Check it out.
10-27-24 Another week and another Baseball legend has passed on. We are sure getting a lot of baseball deaths lately. This week it is Fernando Valenuela. Fernando burst upon the scene with the Dodgers. He was an outstanding pitcher and led the team for a few years. He had the personality to draw in his native Mexican fans. It was Fernandomania. And it was a lot more than hype. He was good. Here is a nice tribute from the MLB network, "Remembering MLB legend Fernando Valenzuela (1960-2024)".
11-3-24 I found a video with Bob Costas interviewing Mickey Mantle. Mickey was just a little before my time and I did not get to see him live. From what I've seen he is one of the top players of all-time. The title of this video threw me a little bit but whoever put up this video can name it whatever they want. I was expected something different but this is a nice video to watch. Check out "Mickey Mantle Explains Who is the Number 1 Baseball Player of All Time".
11-10-24 Here is nice video. It has Ted Williams explaining who the number one player in baseball that he ever saw. Take a few minutes to watch Ted Williams in "Ted Williams Explains Who is the Number 1 Baseball Player He Ever Saw".
11-17-24 In the past few weeks we heard and saw some Hall of Fame hitters talk about the best hitter they ever say. How about looking at it from the other end, the pitchers view point. Not just any pitcher but one of the craftiest pitchers in recent times, Greg Maddux. I hope you enjoy the video, "Greg Maddux Explains Who Was the Number 1 Purest Baseball Hitter When He Was in the Major Leagues".
11-24-24 It's award time in Major League Baseball. MVP's, Rookies, Cy-Youngs, Gold Gloves, and Silver Sluggers are but a few of the awards given out this time of year. With the draft on my mind I always like to look at the Rookie of the Year awards. Some deserving player gets the award every year. But what are the best all-time rookie of the year seasons. Check out this video for one guys opinion, "All-Time Best Rookie of the Year Seasons (Ichiro, Trout, Jackie & more!)".
