10-19-14- We return to Home Run Derby. Henry Aaron has been impressive. Hank has won six in a row!. He now goes for number 7 versus Phillies slugger Wally Post. Can he do it or will Wally break Hank's amazing run?
10-26-14- Here is some old time stuff. Thanks to Glen Boucher and the Library of Congress here is a video of the 1924 Washington Senators winning the World Series. Washington played the New York Giants and game 7 went extra innings. You'll see some amazing video here, the quality is quite good. You will also see video of Walter Johnson. Rare stuff indeed.
11-2-14- It's Home Run Derby time. Last time Wally Post finally defeated the red hot Hank Aaron. His reward, now he gets to take on Dick Stuart. I love seeing these legends swing the bat.
11-9-14- I found this nice tribute to Willie Mays, one of the best centerfielders of all time. In this video some Hall of Fame announcers talk about the "Say Hey Kid". It's also nice to see some video of these great announcers. A nice piece.
11-16-14- Welcome back to Home Run Derby. In our last episode Dick Stuart hit a Derby record 11 homers to defeat Wally Post. Today, Stuart gets to take on big Baltimore Oriole catcher Gus Triandos.
11-23-14- There have been a lot of great catchers in the history of MLB. Perhaps the greatest catcher ever never played in the Major Leagues though. I'm talking about Josh Gibson. Here's a nice video about the legend behind the plate, Josh Gibson.
