10-8-17 The Washington Senators moved to Minnesota and became the Twins. That franchise has had quite a few real good players who get overlooked because of where they played. Players like Tony Olivia, Rod Carew, and Harmon Killebrew. Big Harmon Killebrew was a force in baseball during his time. He was eventually elected to the Hall of Fame. 10-22-17 Lately we featured a few of the lesser know Hall of Famers'. These guys are certainly well known players but not the mega stars from the big markets. One of those lesser markets is Detroit. The Tigers have had their share of stars over the years but not many can top Al Kaline. With 3000 hits, power and great defense he was a star among stars. 10-28-17 Every franchise has its ups and downs. They have their great moments and a bunch of routine stuff. But for every franchise there is a iconic moment. A time that really defines the franchise. 11-5-17 There have been some great announcers over the years. Radio really brought out the best. We have been fortunate to have guys like Vin Scully, Red Barber, and Ernie Harwell.
